Lingual Braces are a form of orthodontics we can offer you that are capable of maneuvering teeth into a pre-determined position. Lingual braces, also known as hidden braces or braces behind teeth, are a type of fixed-metal brace that are attached to the inside of your teeth.
This means they’re discreet and allow you to eat, smile, and talk with confidence during treatment.
Lingual braces work similarly to fixed metal braces, except the brackets are fixed to the inside of your teeth rather than on the surface, making them a more discreet option.
A strong wire is tied into the brackets, which gradually moves your teeth into their desired position. As with any braces, you’ll need to visit your local practice regularly so they can adjust or tighten the wires to ensure your teeth are moving as planned.
